Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter is just under two year old, and they can only afford to house dogs at the moment. I am a volunteer dog-walker there and all of the dogs are lovely and the staff are great, but they are in desperate need of money. It took the owners 20 years to come up with the money to build a block of 25 kennels! Their next project is to build a cattery. Their web-site is shown below.
Some kind volunteers walking the dogs.
If you live in or near Worcestershire, please consider giving up an hour or two a week to help to walk the dogs!

Staff at the Rescue Centre are so nice!
Unlike many rescue centres, who put animals down at the first sign of illness or behavioural problems, staff at Worcestershire Animal Rescue Centre try to train dogs with behavioural problems, and they medicate ill dogs until they are healthy. For example, Max, one of the few dogs at the rescue centre who bites, is currently being trained by a dog behaviourist. Oz, a dog who was ill but is now on the mend thanks to his daily medication, will soon be up for sale to someone kind enough to make him one of their family.
